What to Expect During and After Treatment
Initial Consultation
Before your treatment, we’ll conduct a thorough, one-on-one consultation to evaluate your skin concerns and aesthetic goals. We’ll review your medical history, assess your facial anatomy and determine whether PRF EZGel is the most appropriate option for your needs.
Blood Draw and Gel Preparation
The session begins with a quick and simple blood draw, typically from your arm, much like a routine lab test. Your blood is then processed using a specialized centrifuge system that gently separates the PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) and plasma.
Once the components are separated:
- A portion of the plasma is heated to create a gel-like consistency
- The heated plasma (rich in albumin) is then blended with PRF to form the final EZ Gel formulation
- This customized mixture becomes your natural, volumizing filler—prepared fresh on the same day of your treatment
Targeted Injection
After preparation, we’ll gently inject the PRF EZ Gel into your chosen treatment areas.
This process is highly precise, and we use fine needles or cannulas to minimize discomfort and bruising.
Most patients report little to no pain during the procedure. We can also apply a topical numbing cream beforehand to enhance your comfort.
Immediately After Treatment
You may notice some mild redness, swelling or tenderness at the injection sites. This is a regular part of the healing response. The side effects are typically mild and short-lived, fading within 24 to 72 hours.
Because PRF EZ Gel is made from your blood, there is no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. You can resume most normal activities immediately; however, we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise or facial massage for 24 hours.
